The top student of this year's Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) is from the Point Fortin ASJA Primary School.
Education Minister Anthony Garcia is set to meet with the school's staff and students this morning as he visits the schools attended by the top three students.
He will reveal the name of the student.
The other two schools are not yet clear.
Principal Shazad Khan has described today as a "red letter day" for the school.
Point Fortin ASJA has had the honour of being named the top-performing school in the past.
Results will be released in schools from 10 am.
A total of 18,180 students wrote the SEA examination, which comprised 9,154 male and 9,026 female students.
