The temporary traffic disruption on the Churchill Roosevelt Highway’s eastbound and westbound lanes near the Curepe Interchange continues today…
An official release from NIDCO and the Works and Transport Ministry indicates that the disruption will remain in effect until 9 tonight.
This disruption is to facilitate the transportation and delivery of steel girders from the Chaguaramas Port to the Curepe Intersection, in order to continue construction works on the Bridge Flyover for the Curepe Interchange Project.
Motorists are advised to proceed with caution and drive at a reduced speed on approaching the work zone. In addition, they must observe all temporary directional signage provided on the approaches to the site, and be aware of heavy equipment entering and exiting the site.
