T&TEC work on North Coast Road will cause traffic delays

The Trinidad & Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising commuters that T&TEC will be conducting overhead line work along the North Coast Road, in the vicinity of the Maracas lookout, from Monday 13th to Wednesday 15th November.

T&TEC says work will take place from 8 am to 5 pm daily and motorists may encounter some delays during these periods.

Drivers are being urged to heed the instructions of the police officers on location to assist with the flow of traffic and to drive cautiously when approaching the area.

T&TEC is apologising for any inconvenience that may be caused during this period.

The utility says this project is necessary to replace overhead lines and poles damaged during recent landslides in the area.
