The Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers’ Association (TTMA) has embarked on the trade mission to Jamaica and is scheduled to return April 21st, 2018.
The delegation is led by Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Norris Herbert and TTMA President Christopher Alcazar.
The TTMA is also working closely with the Jamaican Chamber of Commerce (JCC) and the Trinidad and Tobago High Commission in Jamaica.
As Jamaica continues to be T&T’s leading trade partner, the mission’s goal is to strengthen and increase the bilateral trade relations between Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago.
The key components of TTMA’s Trade Mission to Jamaica includes a pre-hosted seminar on “Understanding the Jamaican Market”, linking T&T participants and Jamaican prospects through pre-scheduled meetings and attending “Expo Jamaica 2018”.
T&T participants are expected to create new export opportunities by strengthening, existing and new, relations in the Jamaican market.
Expo Jamaica 2018 will expose T&T representatives to increased market knowledge of the consumer base and demands.
A total of fifteen (15) T&T companies are participating in the trade mission.
The participants comprise of various sectors including; the food and beverage, printing, packaging and the petroleum sector.
