Trinidad and Tobago exported over 1.3 million barrels of oil to the United States in August this year, the highest monthly since November 2014.
The figures are reflected in data published by the US Energy Information Administration.
It has not yet released figures for September and October.
The data shows that 1.364 million barrels of oil were exported to the US in August, a big leap from the 421,000 barrels exported one month earlier.
The last time this country exported a higher amount of oil to the US in any one month, was when it exported 1.472 million barrels in November 2014.
Trinidad and Tobago's oil exports to the US have fallen significantly over the last 10 years, since a peak of near 5 million barrels in May 2006.
