Two appear in court for murder

Two men have appeared before Chief Magistrate, Marcia Caesar-Ayes, in the Port of Spain 8th Court, charged with the April 29th, 2016, murder of 22-year-old Antonio Superville.

Joseph Julien aka ‘Joe’, 24, of Upper Big Yard, Carenage and Isaiah Felix aka ‘Jah Luke’, 23, of the same address were charged with the shooting death of Superville which occurred in the Big Yard, Carenage area.

The accused are also facing charges of possession of firearm and ammunition and have been remanded in custody to re-appear on July 7th, 2016.

The men, who are both unemployed, were charged on June 6th after instructions were received from the Director of Public Prosecution, Roger Gaspard, following extensive investigations carried out by the Homicide Bureau of Investigations, Region 1, Inter-Agency Task Force as well as other units of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service.

Cpl. Marvin Pinder of the Homicide Bureau of Investigations Region One laid the charge.
