Customers in northeast Trinidad served by the North Oropouche Water Treatment Plant have been advised of an interruption in their water supply from midnight Saturday until midnight Sunday.
WASA said the interruption is necessary in order to facilitate emergency repairs to a leak on the 42-inch transmission pipeline, along the Churchill-Roosevelt Highway, Piarco.
Areas affected include Sangre Grande (town centre), Sangre Chiquito, Manzanilla, Coalmine and Guaico/Guaico Tamana.
WASA advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the service to normalise in affected areas. For further information or assistance, customers can contact WASA's Call Centre toll-free at 800-4420/4426.
