Waves still as high as 3.5 metres; gradual improvement expected tomorrow

The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) is maintaining the Rough Seas bulletin as sea conditions continue to be rough.

A statement by the TTMS says wave heights are reaching 3 metres to 3.5 metres along the exposed northern and eastern coastlines, and occasionally choppy in sheltered areas.

It says these above-normal sea conditions are forecast to persist today, with a gradual improvement from tomorrow.

The TTMS says it will continue to closely monitor this weather event and issue further updates when warranted.
