Works Minister: Expect no traffic congestion on Beetham Highway tomorrow

Works and Transport Minister Rohan Sinanan says works being done at the Beetham Highway will not lead to any traffic congestion when the new school term opens on Monday since all work should be completed tonight.

Last week, motorists complained of bumper to bumper traffic as two culverts along the Highway were being installed. The Priority Bus Route had to be opened to ease congestion.

Minister Sinanan says there will be no repeat of traffic since the work will be completed this evening and the roadway reopened by 2 am on Monday morning, well before motorists begin to make their way into Port of Spain.
