YouTube crashes globally

It's not just you, YouTube is down.

The video-sharing site YouTube owned by Google was reported down by the company on social media just before 9 p.m. Central Time Tuesday.

"Thanks for your reports about YouTube, YouTube TV and YouTube Music access issues," Team YouTube said on Twitter.

"We're working on resolving this and will let you know once fixed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will keep you updated."

No information on when the site is expected to be back up was immediately available.
