Ganga - Don't read too much into Windies loss

If you're a West Indies supporter, this maybe the perfect time to panic. With a week to go to the start of its world cup qualifiers, today the West Indies got a wake-up call from Afghanistan.

It may just be a warm-up match, but the West Indians looked cold in a 29-run duckworth/lewis defeat this morning.

First the bowlers capitulated with the ball as the Afghans scored 163/9 from 35 overs. Bad weather shortened the match.

Then the batsmen collapsed in a bunch. From 88/5, the regional side was all out for 110.

All of this comes on the same day ESPN Cricinfo published an interview with captain Jason Holder saying it's about time we win another World Cup.
