Jereem Richards runs #3 time in the world

T&T sprinter Jereem Richards ran the number three time in the world as he blazed to victory in the 200m dash at the New Mexico Classic.

Running in Section 1 against Micaiah Harris, Jaron Flournoy and Jaylen Bacon, Richards cruised to the finish line in a time of 20.52 seconds. It was the fastest of all 13 sections.

Harris was second in a time of 20.83 seconds while Flournoy was .2 seconds behind him.

This was Richards' season opener and he easily finished top overall.

Also competing in the same event, but in Section 3, was T&T athlete and LSU student, Akanni Hislop.

He topped his field in a time of 21.15 seconds but finished fifth overall.
