W Connection dominates but loses CONCACAF opener

W Connection might have dominated its CONCACAF Caribbean Club Championship opening match, but they went home with the lesson that one bad play can cost you the game.

Less than two minutes into the first half, Johnson Jeudy was allowed to run free into the W Connection box, and also shoot. The Real Hope FA player made no mistake in putting the Haitian club one goal up.

Surely, W Connection had it in them to come back with all of 88 minutes still to play, and they threw everything they had at the opposition. Within the final 20 minutes, there were three good chances, but the Real Hope FA goalkeeper also enjoyed a good game.

It ended 1-0 in favour of the visitors, but not an entirely disastrous night for the hosts.
