The West Indies has booked its spot at the 2019 Cricket World Cup with a Duckworth/Lewis victory over Scotland. Needing to win its final Super Sixes game against the Scots, the Windies had a poor start by being bowled out for 198 runs inside its 50 overs.
Evin Lewis top scored with 66 while Marlon Samuels hit 51.
In response, the Scots hit a stumbling block early being reduced to 25 for three.
They motored along to 125 for five before rain stopped play and the match never resumed.
They were five runs off the par score and lost the game as such. It means the West Indies has booked its spot in the qualifiers final and will go to next year's World Cup.
