Two men are arrested and a pistol, a revolver and a quantity of ammunition seized during a police exercise in Mayaro.
The exercise was carried out by officers of the Mayaro Criminal Investigations Department and the Mayaro Task Force.
According to police reports officers executed a search warrant at the Stone Brite Village, Mayaro home of a 31-year-old man on August 6th.
The search resulted in one Glock pistol, one Smith and Wesson revolver, two magazines and a quantity of ammunition being discovered.

Officers of the Central Division Task Force Cunupia district led by Sgt. Glen Persad, conducted the exercise around 9:00 pm, on Wednesday 1st August 2018, during which they executed a search warrant at the Jonathan Trace, Cunupia home of a 24-year-old man.
Akeel Ramadeen,18, of Maraldo Trace, Santa Cruz, is expected to appear before a Port-of-Spain Magistrate today charged with common assault and possession of a firearm and ammunition.
Ramadeen was arrested during an anti-crime exercise in the Santa Cruz district, on July 27th, 2018.
According to police reports while on mobile patrol along Moraldo Trace, officers of the North Eastern Division Task Force (NEDTF), observed a group of men liming.
