One man was arrested and a revolver seized, by officers of the Northern Division Task Force, during an anti-crime exercise, in the San Juan district, yesterday.
The exercise, coordinated by ACP (Ag.), McDonald Jacob, spearheaded by Snr. Supt. (Ag.), Michael Daniel, and including officers of the St. Joseph CID, was conducted between 2:30 pm and 6 pm, on Wednesday 4th April, 2018.
Based on information, the officers proceeded to Royal Road, St. Joseph, where they had cause to stop and search a three-tonne truck, being driven by a 24-year-old San Juan man.
One man was arrested and a quantity of marijuana seized by officers of the South Western Division Task Force, during an anti-crime exercise in the Point Fortin district.
The exercise, coordinated by Snr. Supt. (Ag.) Neville Adams and supervised by Sgt. Shaeed Ali, was conducted around 10:05 pm, on Wednesday 28th March, 2018, during which the officers had cause to stop a silver AD Wagon with a lone male occupant, which was proceeding along the Cap-de-Ville main road.
One man was arrested and a shotgun and quantities of marijuana and ammunition, seized by officers of the Northern Division Task Force during an anti-crime exercise in the Las Lomas district last night.
The exercise, coordinated by ACP (Ag.), McDonald Jacob and spearheaded by Snr. Supt. (Ag.), Michael Daniel, was conducted between 11:30 pm, on Wednesday 28th March, 2018 and 1:30 am, on Thursday 29th March, 2018.
During the exercise, the officers executed a search warrant at the Ajodha Street, Las Lomas home of a 42-year-old man.

A joint police/army anti-crime exercise conducted in the San Fernando district yesterday, resulted in the arrest of two men and the seizure of one pistol, a laser light and a quantity of ammunition.
The exercise, coordinated by Snr. Supt (Ag.) Zamsheed Mohammed and including Insp. Don Gajadhar and Sgt. Vishal Parasram, and personnel from the Trinidad and Tobago Regiment, was conducted between 1 pm and 7 pm, on Monday 19th February, 2018, in the Embacadere area.
Police have arrested a Valencia man for possession of a firearm and quantity of ammunition, police said in a statement on Tuesday.
Police say officers were on patrol along the Valencia Old Road around 10.25 pm Monday when they observed a man acting suspiciously.
Upon seeing the police, the man turned around and walked into a nearby bar.
The man was held on the premises and searched, resulting in the discovery of a black and grey Jaguar revolver loaded with two round of .38 ammunition.
Two men suspected of transporting thousands of dollars' worth of marijuana out of Erin were arrested this morning.
The two suspects, both aged 35, of Oropouche and Port of Spain, were detained in the vehicle which allegedly contained the narcotics.
At around 7.30 a.m. officers of the Santa Flora and Erin CIDs received information and intercepted the vehicle at SS Erin Road.

Three men were arrested and a water pump reported stolen from a housing development in La Horquetta recovered by officers of the La Horquetta Police Station during an anti-crime exercise yesterday.
The six-inch Gorman-Rupp bore water pump, which was loaned to the Housing Development Corporation by Kalico Limited, was discovered missing from Middleton Road, Greenvale, La Horquetta, around 10 am on Monday.
The pump is valued at $260,000.

The exercise, supervised by Cpl Nigel Douglas, was conducted between 9 pm on Saturday and 12:30 am on Sunday.
During the exercise, officers had cause to stop and search a white Nissan Almera motor vehicle, with two male occupants, along Cunapo Southern Road, around 9:30 pm.
