WIN Caribbean Limited has until Monday to pay the Telecommunications Authority $5 million in fees, or shut down its television and radio stations.
Lawyers representing the owners of the media house failed to get an injunction from High Court Judge Vasheist Kokaram, to allow the continuance of operations beyond Monday when the TATT license expires.
The judge felt that WIN failed to raise a case that TATT is being unreasonable and unfair, in its bid to withhold a new license for failing to pay the fees and provide the necessary documentation for a renewal.
