The temporary traffic disruption on the Churchill Roosevelt Highway’s eastbound and westbound lanes near the Curepe Interchange continues today…
An official release from NIDCO and the Works and Transport Ministry indicates that the disruption will remain in effect until 9 tonight.
This disruption is to facilitate the transportation and delivery of steel girders from the Chaguaramas Port to the Curepe Intersection, in order to continue construction works on the Bridge Flyover for the Curepe Interchange Project.
The Ministry of Works and Transport wishes to advise the general public that there will be temporary traffic disruptions over the weekend as a result of scheduled roadworks.
Firstly, from 8 pm on Friday 6th December to 4 am on Monday 9th December, there will be a temporary closure of access to—and from—the Southern Main Road North (Curepe), at its intersection with the Churchill Roosevelt Highway (Curepe Interchange).
