Rising flood waters in South Trinidad have claimed the life of a 53-year-old mentally ill man.
The usually goes to his brother's house at Realise Road in Barrackpore around 3pm daily for food and medication.
However, on his way there, he passed across a bridge along Cunjal Road where the Lengua River passes.
His brother Ackbar Ali said when he didn't see him come, he sent his son to look for him.
A resident said they saw him walking near the river while it was beginning to rise.
The body of drowned teenager Rapheal Ramberan has been recovered.
Ramberan's body was seen floating in the waters off Saline Bay by fishermen who contacted an Air Guard helicopter.
The following is a statement from the Coast Guard:
"On Tuesday 8th December 2015 at approximately10:42 a.m. Trinidad & Tobago Air Guard Helicopter AW 139 was signaled by fishermen in an area off Saline Bay. Upon closer investigation it appeared to be the body of missing sixteen (16) year old sea bather Rapheal Ramberan.
