The host of the Crime Watch programme, Ian Alleyne, has issued a video response to the termination of his show on CNC3, calling for "peace" and asking followers to continue to support his former employer, Guardian Media Limited.
Alleyne posted a video lasting 12 minutes and 20 seconds to his Facebook page around 12.30 Friday morning telling supporters not to be bitter after CNC3 announced on Thursday that his weekday 6pm programme had been terminated.
He denies claims that he was muzzled by someone within the station.
Guardian Media Limited has signed an agreement with the Oxford Business Group (OBG) to enhance the quality of reporting on business affairs.
The agreement will see Guardian Media Limited/CNC3 and OBG producing premium high-level exclusive television reports with senior executives of the business community for broadcast on CNC3's main news and current affairs products.
The partnership will help to reinforce Guardian Media Limited's position as the leader in business reporting throughout Trinidad and Tobago.
