PM wants corruption investigation into former Government ministers, police officers

Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley is calling for an official investigation into what he says could be corruption by police officers and former government ministers who are still members of Parliament today.

Speaking at the post-Cabinet news conference today, the prime minister referred to a Sunday Express article and affidavit signed by former MP Jack Warner about an alleged marijuana find at the home of former prime minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar.
