Devant Maharaj wants Integrity Commission to investigate Independent Senator

Former Food Production Minister Devant Maharaj has written to the Integrity Commission's chairman asking him to probe Independent Senator Justin Junkere.

It comes just days after the senator voted with the government to pass the SSA Amendment Bill.

Junkere has been accused of obtaining legal briefs with the AG's office.

In his letter to the Integrity Commission, Maharaj says the Independent Senator failed to disclose his work with the AG's office and this is a conflict of interest.
