Two men are fighting for their lives at the hospital after being shot multiple times in Laventille last night.
The unidentified men were reportedly driving along Laventille Road Extension around 8 pm when they were ambushed and shot several times.
Their car crashed into other vehicles parked on the roadway before coming to a stop.
The two victims were rushed to the hospital where they remain warded.
No motive have been established nor have any suspects been held.
A 15-year-old boy has been arrested with a firearm in Laventille. Police say the boy ran off when he saw the police during an operation.

A 32-year-old prisons officer was fatally shot outside his home in Laventille this morning.
Police reports indicate that Victor Simon was washing his vehicle outside his Pritzgar Lands home in Laventille, when two men approached him and fired several shots hitting him in his head.
Simon was rushed to the Port-of-Spain General Hospital in a police vehicle but died while undergoing emergency surgery.
Police investigation are continuing.

A couple from Laventille has become the country’s latest murder victims.
Andre La Touche and Abiola Noel were leaving Noel’s Eastern Quarry, Laventille home in a silver Nissan Tiida around 8.30 this morning when gunmen approached the moving vehicle and fired several shots.
The driver then crashed the vehicle into a concrete dumpster.
Residents said the gunmen approached the vehicle apparently to ensure that the occupants were dead before leaving.
The Ministry of Education is describing the two teenaged students who were shot and killed in Laventille on Thursday, as "exemplary students".
The Education Ministry issued a statement today seeking to set the record straight with regards to the conduct of the students.
