The Los Angeles police department have served a warrant at singer Chris Brown’s Los Angeles home after a woman called police for assistance.
The robbery and homicide division is handling the incident, officials said.
“There’s still officers at the scene, as of now it’s still ongoing,” a spokesperson told the UK Guardian around 4pm T&T time.
A warrant was served on the property just before 1pm on Tuesday, nearly nine hours after the 911 call was made, the LAPD confirmed.
Brown was not under arrest, officials said.
Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley leaves for the United States on vacation on Thursday but is expected to be back in time for start of screening of People’s National Movement’s (PNM) Local Government nominees which begins August 17th.
Rowley will leave on August 4th for Los Angeles for two weeks.
He said he will do a medical check while overseas and “take a few days off.”
Rowley will leave T&T soon after Finance Minister Colm Imbert returns early this week from his overseas bond-raising trip.
