Manchester United have secured the long-awaited signing of midfielder Paul Pogba from Juventus for a reported world-record fee.
Pogba, 23, returns to Old Trafford four seasons after departing for Italy, with sources confirming United will pay Juventus £89 million, plus an additional £20m in agents' fees.
That figure beats the previous record transfer fee of an estimated £85m that Real Madrid paid Tottenham for Gareth Bale in 2013.
Manchester United is set to break the world record for the highest transfer fee ever paid for a player, with the imminent signing of Juventus and France midfielder Paul Pogba.
After months of speculation, Manchester United have confirmed that their world record move for Paul Pogba is going ahead after they announced a medical had been planned for Pogba, with Juventus giving the 23-year-old the green light to travel to Manchester.
