Penal man missing

A 50-year-old  man has been reported missing. The TTPS is seeking the public assistance in locating Russell Cornwall a labourer from Penal. 

The following is the TTPS press release:

Trinidad and Tobago Police Service is seeking the urgent assistance of the public in locating a 50-year-old labourer, who was last seen leaving his home on Tuesday 20th December 2016.

15-year-old 'missing girl' found

Jeniece Hamilton, the 15-year-old schoolgirl of Ramkissoon Trace, Santa Cruz, who was reported missing by her mother, Saskia Haffet, on Saturday 18th December, 2016, has been found, a statement by the Police Service says.

The statement does not go into any further detail.

It says that the Police Service thanks the public for its assistance in ensuring the teenager’s safe return.

San Fernando fisherman missing

The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service is seeking the urgent assistance of the public in locating a 24-year-old fisherman, who was last seen leaving his home to go out to sea at Kings Wharf, San Fernando, on Tuesday 13th December, 2016, a police statement said.

Dwayne David was reported missing from his Palmiste, San Fernando, home to the San Fernando Police Station by his mother, Joann Combs, around 3:20 pm on Sunday18th December, 2016.

David had left home around 7:30 pm dressed in a red short pants and a red and white T-shirt.

15-year-old Santa Cruz girl missing

The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service is seeking the urgent assistance of the public in locating a 15-year-old schoolgirl, who was last seen at her home on Monday 12th December, 2016, a statement by the Police Service says.

Jeniece Hamilton was reported missing from her Ramkissoon Trace, Santa Cruz, home to the Santa Cruz Police Station by her mother, Saskia Haffett, around 1:30 pm on Saturday 18th December, 2016.

San Fernando man missing

Trinidad and Tobago Police Service is seeking the urgent assistance of the public in locating a 43-year-old man who left home for work around 10:00am on Monday 5th December, 2016, and has not been seen since.

Premnath Jerry was reported missing from his Rushworth Street, San Fernando, home to the San Fernando Central Investigations Department by his brother, Sona Jerry, around 12:05pm on Thursday 15th December, 2016.

Arima man missing

Trinidad and Tobago Police Service is seeking the urgent assistance of the public in locating a 38-year-old man, who went missing on Saturday 3rd December, 2016, a statement by the Police Service says. 

Anand Maharaj was reported missing from his Chance Trace, Arima, home to the Arima Police Station by his common-law wife, Ria Ramsamooj, around 8:15 am on Monday 5th December, 2016.

Anand, a construction worker, left home at around 7:45 pm after informing his wife he was going out to ‘lime’. 

'Missing' woman admits to lying: "I was having a time"

Heather Barriteau, the woman at the centre of a fake abduction has confessed that she lied.

"I was not abducted, I went on my free will and had a time for the weekend and that is it," she said in an interview from her husband's cellular phone.

Asked to comment on his wife's admission, Devon Paul, said he did not want to comment.

"That went way out of proportion," he said.

"The last time I tried to clarify what went on, everybody turn around my words, so I am not saying anything."

14-year-old girl missing

The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service is seeking the urgent assistance from members of the public in locating a 14-year-old schoolgirl, who was last seen at her home at around 6:00am on Saturday 10th December, 2016.

Destiny Jackson of Charford Court, Port-of-Spain, was reported missing to the Besson Street Police Station by her grandmother, Roberta Jack, on Monday 12th December, 2016.

She is a pupil of Morvant Laventille Secondary School. 

Destiny has long black hair, is 5 feet tall and is of mixed descent. She was last seen wearing a grey dress.

Missing 35-year-old woman found alive at San Fernando General Hospital

Relatives of missing vendor Heather Barriteau are breathing a sigh of relief after she was found alive at the San Fernando General Hospital.

Barriteau,35, of La Brea went missing on Friday after she was seen liming with a man at a bar at Mucurapo Street, San Fernando.

Her husband Devon Paul said that after Barriteau left the bar, she boarded a car along Mucurapo Street to meet a friend. 

However, he said he believes that the driver abducted Barriteau, and that she was being held at a house in Marabella against her will before she was released.

15-year-old girl reported missing

The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service is seeking the urgent assistance of the public in locating a 15-year-old girl who has gone missing from the St. Jude’s Home for Girls.

Cheniece Stephenson was among three others girls who were reported missing from the home by the supervisor, Ann-Marie Arneaud-Thomas, to the Belmont Police Station on Friday 9th December, 2016.

Ms Arneaud-Thomas told police that the girls were ‘observed missing’ at around 8:20am on the said date.
