Curepe fire leaves 14 homeless

A Ja­maican na­tion­al and three Cubans are among 14 ten­ants left home­less af­ter fire gut­ted their apart­ment com­plex in Curepe on Mon­day evening.

One of the af­fect­ed ten­ants, pen­sion­er Jen­nifer Cock­burn, 66, told Guardian Me­dia at about 4.30 pm she was sit­ting in her ve­ran­dah lo­cat­ed down­stairs in the split lev­el build­ing when she heard a sound com­ing from an apart­ment above her.

San Fernando woman missing

The TTPS is seeking the urgent assistance of the public in locating 18-year-old Aaisha Khan.

Aaisha, of Bronte Village, San Fernando, was last seen at her home on June 29th.

She was reported missing to the police on the following date.

Aaisha is of East Indian descent, 5 feet 6 inches tall, medium built, with a brown complexion.

She was last seen wearing a black and white dress and a hijab.

Mayaro woman missing

The TTPS is seeking the urgent assistance of the public in locating 56-year-old Enid Gardener.

Enid, of, Mafeking Village, Mayaro, was last seen at her home around 10:00 am, on Wednesday 19th June 2019.

She was reported missing to the Mayaro Police Station, around 7:45 pm, on June 22nd by her son.

Enid is of African descent, 5 feet 7 inches tall and medium built with a brown complexion.

She was last seen wearing a red Fila dress.
