Police arrested three men during a police exercise when a pistol was discovered under the seat of the vehicle they were travelling in.

Three men were held and a pistol and a quantity of ammunition were seized by officers of the Cunupia Police Station, during an anti-crime exercise in the district, yesterday.
A pistol and a quantity of ammunition were seized by officers of the Inter-Agency Task Force, during an anti-crime exercise in Laventille, on Monday morning.
Officers were on mobile patrol around 11:30 am on Monday 18th September, 2017, in Block 8, Laventille, when they observed a man acting suspiciously.
Upon seeing the officers, the man ran off.
Officers gave chase, but the man managed to elude capture. A search of the area, resulted in the discovery of a black plastic bag, containing one Glock pistol and a magazine with 17 rounds of 9mm ammunition.
A Glock pistol and a quantity of ammunition have been seized during an anti-crime exercise by officers of the Carenage Police Station.
Police say officers conducted the exercise between 4 pm and 6 pm on Tuesday 29th August, 2017, in the Carenage District.
Acting on information received, the officers proceeded to Upper Haig Street, Carenage, where they conducted a search of an abandoned house.
The search resulted in a pistol and magazine with nine rounds of 9mm ammunition being found.
No arrests were made in connection with the find.
A 16-year-old Longdenville boy was held with a firearm during a police exercise. Police officers searched the teenager and discovered a Smith & Wesson pistol and ammunition. The following is the TTPS media statement:
