The Management of Trinidad and Tobago Inter-island Transportation Company Limited (TTIT) says repair works on the T&T Express have been completed and that the vessel will resume the inter-island run from POS (today) Thursday 25th January at 3.00 pm.
The normal schedule will resume on Friday 26th January from TGO at 6.30 am and from POS at 2.00 pm.
Sailings of the T&T Express from Port-of-Spain on Wednesday 24th January and from Tobago at 6.30 am on Thursday 25th January, 2018, were cancelled because of engine problems.
The Division of Infrastructure, Quarries and the Environment of the Tobago House of Assembly says road resurfacing works will be undertaken on a portion of Gardenside Street in the vicinity of the Scarborough Library onto Carrington Street on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th January between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and midnight.
It says this activity would result in the closure of some portions of the road and/or access streets, limiting access to lower Scarborough.

The Management of Trinidad and Tobago Inter-Island Transportation Company (TTIT) is advising the travelling public that the T&T Express experienced mechanical issues on Tuesday during the sailing to Scarborough.
It says that repairs commenced immediately upon its arrival into port and the vessel was able to sail from Scarborough this morning at 7.40 am.
It adds that on-going repairs will continue when the vessel arrives into Port-of-Spain and that in the circumstances, the 12 noon sailing from POS (today) has been cancelled.
Police are seeking the urgent assistance of the public in locating 37-year-old Patricia Rachel Mohammed.
Patricia, was last seen at her Rumstill Avenue, Rousillac, home around 7:40 am on Sunday 21st January, 2018.
She was reported missing to the La Brea Police Station around 7:30 am on Tuesday 23rd January, 2018, by her father-in-law, Rudolph De Souza.
Patricia is of East Indian descent, 5 feet 5 inches tall, slim built with a dark complexion and short black hair.
She was last seen wearing a tiger print top and a pair of flower patterned tights.
The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) is advising customers served by the Carlsen Field Water Treatment Plant that there will be an interruption in their water supply on Thursday January 25 2018, between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm.
This has become necessary in order to facilitate planned maintenance works at the plant by the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC).
Areas affected include:
Sisters Aleana St Louis, 15, and Alissa St Louis, 14, of Oropune Gardens, Oropune, who were reported missing by their mother, Alicia Yearwood on Wednesday 20th December, 2017, have been found.
Police confirmed they were found via a news release on Thursday but did not give further details.
However, the Police Service is thanking the public for its assistance in ensuring the teenagers’ safe return.
