Robert Le Hunte has been officially sworn in as the new Public Utilities Minister.
He received his instrument of appointment this afternoon at president’s house.
Dr. Rowley took on the portfolio of public utilities minister in June after firing Marlene McDonald for a second time.
Robert Le Hunte has been an executive director at HFC Bank Ghana Limited since April of 2013 and its executive director of risk management until April 2015.
A new minister of public utilities will be sworn in tomorrow.
A release from the office of the prime minister says Mr. Robert Le Hunte will be sworn in by the president tomorrow.
The release says the president has been asked to revoke the appointment of Dr. Keith Rowley as minister of public utilities and the appointment of Walede Michael Coppin as Senator to allow for Le Hunte to be appointed as a senator and minister.
Dr. Rowley took on the portfolio of public utilities minister in June during a cabinet reshuffle.
