T&T rower Felice Chow placed fourth in the final of the Women's Singles Scull event in Rio this morning.
The event was not a medal race, as she competed in Final D.
Only competitors who qualified for the A final can medal in this event.
Chow clocked her best time of the entire Olympics, rowing 7.50.23 to finished fourth.
She had also finished fourth in the semi-final with a time of 8.20.07.
Trinidad and Tobago rower, Felice Chow has placed fourth in semi-final C/D of the Women's Single Sculls event.
Chow completed the event in a time of 8.20.07 today in a race won by Sanita Puspure of Ireland in 7.53.48.
She has qualified for the D final on Saturday at 8.40 am.
Chow is no longer in contention for a medal, having not qualified for the A final which also takes place on Saturday morning.
Chow is the first female T&T athlete to ever represent this country in an Olympic rowing event.

However she is out of contention for a medal, as only the top three places in each quartefinal remain in contention for a medal as they move on to semi-finals A/B.

Chow was on action in quarter final two, with rowers from Austria, Switzerland, the United States, Sweden and Egypt.
The race was won by Genevra Ston of the USA in a time of 7.27.04.
