Today’s sailing of the T&T Spirit from Tobago will be delayed by one hour.
According to a release issued by the management team for the Trinidad and Tobago Inter-Island Ferry Service (TTIT), the originally scheduled 4:00 pm departure from Tobago will instead be at 5:00 pm.
The TTIT apologises for any inconvenience caused to the public.
The ferry service management team also says there will be an additional sailing of the Cabo Star this weekend.
The Management of the T&T Inter-island Transportation Company Limited (TTIT) is advising the travelling public that due to increased demand for travel during the Great Race 2019 period, there will be additional sailings of the Jean De La Valette (JDLV) on August 16 and August 20, 2019.
A statement yesterday said due to the additional sailings of the JDLV the following sailing times are amended as follows:
Works and Transport Minister Rohan Sinanan has assured that everything is on schedule for the Jean De La Valette (JDLV) to set sail this week.
Minister Sinanan is on the record as saying the vessel would be setting sail on “the weekend of July 15”.
In a brief telephone interview with Guardian Media Tuesday, Sinanan assured that the necessary preparations are being made for the sailing to occur but could not give an exact date.
The Port Authority of Trinidad and Tobago is advising that the M.V Cabo Star will not be sailing on Saturday 07th April, 2018.
There are 28 passengers with vehicles, from Port of Spain, that were required to travel on the cancelled sailing of the T&T Spirit on this day.
The port is asking these persons to bring their vehicles on Sunday 08th April, 2018 to be transported on the Cabo Star.
Check- in of vehicles starts at 9 am for the sailing at 12 noon.
The vessel will sail from Tobago at 11 pm.
