As the 2019 Local Government Elections are set to run-off on Monday December 2nd, the latest NACTA Poll says it may be too close to call in the Siparia constituency.
And the NACTA pollsters say while voters are “disenchanted with the PNM’s governance”, the UNC may not be able to capitalise on that, given its current line-up.
In a release outlining the Poll’s latest results, the NACTA team says whoever is able to mobilise on the ground will be the overall winner in each constituency.

A Siparia couple was arrested by officers of the Siparia Criminal Investigations Department, after they were found to be in possession of a quantity of high-grade marijuana, during an anti-crime exercise last night.
According to police reports, a party of officers, supervised by Sgt. Prakash Jaggernath, were on surveillance duty along Villabrera Street, Siparia, on December 24th when they observed a silver BMW motor vehicle with two occupants.
The officers attempted to intercept the vehicle, which came to a sudden stop and began reversing at high speed.
Three men have been held in connection with the armed robbery of a KFC outlet in Siparia and a pistol has been seized.
Police say after 10 on Friday night, an armed man entered the establishment and announced a robbery.
The suspect proceeded to steal the drawer of the cash register and make his escape.
A report was made to police, leading officers of the Siparia CID to intercept a vehicle with three male occupants in San Francique.
A search of the vehicle was conducted and resulted in officers discovering one pistol and a cash register’s drawer.
A rifle and a quantity of ammunition were discovered by officers of the South Western Division, during an anti-crime exercise in the Siparia today.
According to police reports during the exercise, coordinated by Snr. Supt. (Ag.) Neville Adams, a party of officers attached to the South Western Division Task Force (SWDTF), along with the Fyzabad and Penal Criminal Investigations Departments, proceeded to a bushy area off Robert Hill, Siparia, around 7:00 am on September 5th, where a search was carried out.
A Siparia man is remanded into custody after appearing before a Siparia Magistrate, charged with three counts of robbery with violence against a family, which occurred on Thursday 19th July, 2018.
Bryan George, 28, of Clara Gregory Street, Siparia, pleaded not guilty to the charges when he appeared before Magistrate Margaret Alert in the Siparia 1st Magistrates’ Court, on Monday 23rd July, 2018.
The matter was postponed to Monday 20th August, 2018.
Missing Siparia 16-year-old Salina Sanchez has reported to police at the Penal Police Station and her mother says she had been hiding out in bushes behind the home for the last couple days.
Her mother, Deokie Ramlakhan, has told the media that she was hiding alone.
The mother says she cannot explain why Salina decided to go and hide.
Ramlakhan had made a police report on Tuesday that Salina had gone missing.
She said Salina had left the house at Branch Trace, Syne Village to go to the bakery.
