Patrons in the Socadrome at the Jean Pierre Complex in Port-of-Spain were yesterday treated to almost an entire Carnival experience on one stage.
For the first time since its inception, the Scoadrome was part of the route taken by revellers as they paraded through the nation’s capital on Carnival Tuesday. First to cross the stage yesterday morning was Harts, followed by Bliss, Pure, Yuma and Tribe, who took the stage heading into the afternoon.
MX Prime, David Rudder and Calypso Rose are among soca artistes who will perform at the Socadrome at the Jean Pierre Complex on Carnival Tuesday.
The venue will see no fewer than five big bands crossing the stage, including Bliss, Harts, Lost Tribe, Tribe and Yuma.
The list of performers included Calypso Rose, David Rudder, Mx Prime, Lingo, Black Sage and Gypsy.
It will also showcase traditional Carnival characters.
Socadrome spokesperson, Danielle Jones-Hunte promises that the venue will be worth visiting.
