Controversial Cricket West Indies president, Dave Cameron, has warned Darren Bravo, Sunil Narine and Kieron Pollard they may never play for West Indies again, following their reluctance to represent the regional side at the upcoming ICC World Cup Qualifiers in Zimbabwe.
CWI said on Thursday the T&T trio had snubbed offers to be included in the 15-man squad for the all-important March 4-25 tournament, where West Indies will be vying for one of the remaining two spots at the 2019 World Cup in England.
W Connection winger Neil Bejamin Jr. is headed to Vietnam to ply his trade in the Vietnam V-League with Nam Dinh FC on “a permanent deal.”
The talented 23-year-old Savonetta Boys’ winger was last season’s Pro League top-scorer. His success on the domestic circuit has earned him a contract abroad.
Speaking to his club's media, he said, "It’s an incredible opportunity to be able to sign my first overseas contract and leave your home country and play for a different club."
US Judge Rosemarie Aquilina has sentenced disgraced former US Gymnastics sports director Larry Nassar to 175 years in prison for sexually abusing several girls under his care.
In handing down the sentence, the judge called him “despicable” as she said before the sentence was read, that Nassar will “be in darkness for the rest of his life.”
“I just signed your death warrant,” Aquilina said.
The judge took time beforehand to carefully, methodically lambaste Nassar and his so-called "treatments" and said he has not yet owned up to his conduct.
