Kisal's Denso Airybees improve to 4-0

T&T’s mid­dle-block­er Sinead Kisal (for­mer­ly Jack) and her Den­so Airy­bees con­tin­ued their im­pres­sive start to the sea­son in the Japan Women’s Vol­ley­ball Pre­mier Con­fer­ence 25-15, 25-23, 25-23 win against Okaya­ma Seag­ulls on Mon­day.

It was the fourth straight win for Kisal and her club for a per­fect record with 20 points.

Hondurans shut out T&T 2-0

Trinidad and To­ba­go’s chances of pro­gress­ing out of the group in the Con­ca­caf Na­tions League were dealt a se­vere blow when they were shut out 2-0 by Hon­duras at the Hase­ly Craw­ford Sta­di­um in Port-of-Spain last night.

The vis­i­tors got a sec­ond-half goal from Bryan Ve­lasquez-Moya (52th) and Dou­glas Mar­tinez (90th) as skip­per Kevin Moli­no’s side was con­fined to yet an­oth­er de­feat in what has been a hor­ri­ble run for them so far this year.
