Ahye faces domestic violence charges in Texas

National athlete Michelle-Lee Ahye faces domestic violence charges in Texas.

The sprinter was arrested on June 20 on the charge of assault causing bodily injury.

She was released on June 21 but will have to return to court on a date to be announced.

Ahye's wife, Chelsea Renee, placed a now deleted post on social media with what appeared to be a mugshot of Ahye, suggesting the couple had split.

Both Ahye and Chelsea no longer have pictures of each other on their social media profiles.

The couple was married last May.
