It was carded as a day/night affair but Trinidad and Tobago required less then three hours to dispose of a listless Combined Campuses and Colleges Marooners by nine wickets in their second match of the Regional Super50 yesterday.
Off-spinner Sunil Narine was brilliant, claiming five for 10 from 7.4 overs, to sink Marooners for 101 off 25.4 overs after the Barbabados-based unit opted to bat first at historic Kensington Oval.
Left-arm seamer Sheldon Cottrell picked up three for 40 while left-arm spinner Khary Pierre took two for 15.
Sunil Narine dazzled with the ball as the T&T Red Force hit back in the Super50 Cup with a convincing victory over the Combined Campuses & Colleges (CCC) Marooners.
Narine finished with 5-12 to help bowl the Marooners out for just 101 runs in 25.4 overs. Earlier, the Marooners won the toss and elected to bat first.
But for Ryan Hinds, who scored 32, no other batsman put up a fight.
