A 35-year-old man from St Joseph was killed during an argument while at a bar in St Augustine on Friday morning.
According to police, at about 4 am, Joel Collier was at Bamboo's Bar, College Road in St Augustine, when he got into an argument with another man.
Eyewitnesses told police that Collier walked away from the argument, however, the man he was arguing with whipped out a gun and shot him several times killing him on the scene.
On Sunday night, in an unrelated incident, one man was left dead and two others wounded during a shooting incident in Arouca.
A Private Hire (PH) taxi driver has been shot and killed.
Residents of Mohammed Street, St Augustine heard several loud explosions around 10:30 pm on Sunday.
Police were called in and discovered the bullet-riddled body Keston Venus slumped behind the steering wheel of his silver Nissan Tiida motor vehicle.
Eyewitnesses say that they saw the vehicle drop off some people, turned around and was proceeding out of the street when the gunshots were heard.
No motive has yet been established for the killing.
The murder count climbed by one following the overnight killing of a St Augustine man.
Around 9pm on Thursday, Mukesh oPoran also known as 'Trim' was ambushed by a gunman.
An altercation ensued and he was shot and killed.
The incident took place close to the man's Freeman Road home.
Investigations are ongoing.

Police have arrested a man in possession of a sub-machine gun in St Augustine.
According to reports, around 5:30pm Thursday, officers were proceeding south along St. John Road, St. Augustine, when they observed a Blue Nissan B-14 - registration PBB 9112 - at a standstill along the road.
The officers approached the vehicle which then sped off.
The police gave chase and subsequently intercepted same vehicle a short distance away.
After carrying out a search of the said vehicle, officers found and seized a Thompson sub-machine gun .45 calibre.
Police are seeking the urgent assistance of the public in locating 19-year-old Alyssa Pierre.
Alyssa, of Upper St John Road, St Augustine, was reported missing to the Tunapuna Police Station on Thursday 9th March, 2017, by her mother, Ravisha Defreitas.
She was last seen leaving her grandmother’s home at Aranguez Main Road, San Juan, on the date the missing person report was made, to meet a man who promised to assist her with finding employment.
Alyssa is of mixed descent, 5 feet 3 inches tall, medium built, with a light brown complexion and short, curly brown hair.
Hema Kisoon, the 38-year-old woman of Agostini Street, St. Augustine who was reported missing by her common law husband, Ian Murray, on Monday 13th February, 2017, has been found.
This is according to a statement by the Police Service.
The statement says that Kisoon returned home on Wednesday 15th February, 2017, indicating to the police that she “was not missing”.
The statement does not give any further information.
Police are seeking the urgent assistance of the public in locating 38-year-old Hema Kisoon of St Augustine.
Hema was reported missing to the St Joseph Police Station on Monday13th February, 2017, by her common-law husband, Ian Murray.
She was last seen wearing brown jeans and a black and white jersey at her Agostini Street, St. Augustine home at around 9:30 pm on Tuesday 7th February, 2017.
Hema is of East Indian descent, 5 feet 9 inches tall, slim built with medium length straight black hair.
