The T&T Red Force trio of Jason Mohammed, Sheldon Cottrell and Evin Lewis are set to be replaced as they head off to the World Cup qualifiers on West Indies duty.
T&T Cricket Board Chief Executive Officer Suruj Ragoonath confirmed Rayad Emrit, Jon-Russ Jagessar and Kamil Pooran will fly to Barbados to replace the three players.
The T&T Red Force was hammered by 172 runs in its opening Super50 Cup match against hosts Barbados Pride on Monday night at 3 Ws Oval.
Having won the toss and inserted the opposition, Pride racked up 278/9 from its 50 overs. Among the run-scorers were Kevin Stoute (74) and Roston Chase (50).
There were also cameo knocks along the way that helped the hosts. For instance, Shai Hope scored 47 runs from 50 balls while Jonathan Carter hit a quickfire 37.
