The Opposition intends to file a Motion of Privileges against Attorney General Faris Al Rawi, following his statement in the Parliament in which he declared that his ministry has launched an audit to determine if the UNC contracted Cambridge Analytica.

The United National Congress (UNC) is calling on Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley to take action against National Security Minister Edmund Dillon, following reports that he is before the US Supreme Court in a civil matter involving allegations of financial abuse.
The UNC issued the following statement today.
"The United National Congress is disturbed by allegations of fraud and misconduct levelled against yet another member of the Keith Rowley administration.
Mickela Panday, the daughter of former prime minister Basdeo Panday, says she is still willing to meet with the UNC political leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar in the interest of the party.
The UNC National Women’s Arm says it notes with distaste "the callousness of the PNM Women’s Arm with regards to the disappearance of Anita Mohammed and the recent murder of a young mother at the hands of an abusive partner".
In a statement issued Friday afternoon, the UNC Women's Arm said: "The PNM Women’s Arm failed to stand up for these women and instead chose to issue releases on Nermal “Massive” Gosein latest Chutney soca release and today a release defending their members from public scrutiny regarding their alleged indiscretions that have been made public."
