Venezuelan planes arrive for T&T-manufactured goods

Two Venezuelan aircraft have landed at the Piarco International Airport to begin collecting food and other supplies that the country badly needs.

This follows and agreement signed by this country and Venezuela to supply the country with manufactured goods through the establishment of a US$50 million revolving fund.

Earlier this week, officials of the Ministry of Trade including Trade Minister Paula Gopee-Scoon and Venezuelan Trade officials, finalised terms to begin a first tranche of supply.
