A teenage student who climbed on top of a walkover near Tumpuna Road, La Horquetta has safely come down.
The 17-year-old boy made his way to the top of the walkover this morning and sat on top of the wire covering as traffic passed below.
Emergency services rushed to the scene to ensure that the boy was not met with serious injury or death from a fall.
His friend eventually climbed up next to him and after the two spoke for a while, the boy came down.
He was then taken for a medical examination.

Over the past four years, seven people have been killed and many more injured while crossing the Morne Coco Road and Four Roads intersection of the Diego Martin Highway.
Residents, most of them elderly, say they are fearful of being killed or injured while crossing the road and are calling for construction to begin on the promised walkover.
The walkover, a project of the National Infrastructure Development Company (Nidco), was scheduled to start from April 2017 to December 2017. However, there are no signs that construction will be commencing any time soon.
