WASA: Disruption in water supply in South East Trinidad on July 16

The Water and Sewerage Authority advises customers in parts of South East Trinidad served by the Navet Water Treatment Plant that, there will be an interruption in their pipe borne water supply on July 16th between the hours of 8.00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
This has become necessary in order to facilitate emergency repair works to a ruptured 32” diameter transmission pipeline, located at St. John’s Road, Piparo.
Areas to be affected include: New Grant, Hardbargain, Craignish Village, Matilda, St. Julien, Indian Walk, Hindustan, St. Mary’s Village, Cunjal, Cumuto, Whiteland, Poonah, Piparo, Morne Roche, Princes Town, Manahambre, Iere Village, Sisters Road, Buen Intento, Malgretoute, Williamsville, Barrackpore, Bronte, Borde Narve, Ste. Madeline, Friendship, Penal Rock Road, Diamond Village, Golconda, Esperance and Retrench. Customers are advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas in accordance with pipe-borne water supply schedules.
